Assistant Vice President - SCM - HVDC

Purpose of Role:-

End to end SCM / Sourcing activities - HVDC

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:-

Project SCM Leadership:

• Act as the SCM lead within the HVDC project core team.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, logistics, quality, and finance teams across global regions.

Procurement & Vendor Management:-

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets.
• Select and negotiate with suppliers, ensuring compliance with technical and commercial requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues.

Logistics & Delivery Oversight:-

• Ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
• Manage logistics planning and execution, including customs and transportation.

Risk & Compliance Management:-

• Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Ensure supplier compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards.

Reporting & Documentation:-

• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, supplier evaluations, and delivery schedules.
• Provide regular updates to project leadership on SCM status, risks, and opportunities.

Critical Success Factors - Essential:-

• 4~ 10 years of experience in SCM / Bidding / Project Management or Exp. in SCM / project management / controls
• Worked on large scale capital projects

• B.Tech / B.E- Electrical / Mechanical
