Job Description


  • To have knowledge of procurement of Electrical/Electronic parts from vendors.
  • Familiar with technical and commercial terms and conditions of purchase.
  • Planning procurement of material from SAP-MRP.
  • To keep correspondence & co-ordination with the other departments like planning, stores, design, accounts, quality etc.
  • Establish procedures to monitor purchases for conformance to specifications, price, delivery, regulatory requirements, and quality.
  • Purchasing all the materials of electrical/electronic material as per systems requirement. Close coordination with planning material requirement.
  • Ensuring the timely delivery of material, purchase of right quality of material, follow up to vendor for timely supply the material.
  • Define, plan and implement and purchasing strategies.
  • Work with suppliers, manufacturers and internal department Planning procurement of material from SAP-MRP.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Classification and Analysis of procurement of electrical materials.
  • Generate Monthly purchase report, Monthly open purchase order analysis.
  • Thorough knowledge and info all the material required for regular use of material electrical etc.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills with abilities in Vendor Management.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to meet quality, delivery & cost objective.
  • To decide and maintain minimum stock levels, improve systems to minimise the lead time, both internal & external, Inventory control, reporting to seniors etc.
  • Data maintenance & taking feedback from Vendors/Suppliers.

Your Profile:-

  • Desired Qualification : B.E. – Electrical / Electronics/Mech.
  • Desired Experience in Years :10-12 Years.
  • Preferred from manufacturing companies : Must be good knowledge of electrical commodities.
  • Hands on experience & must have worked on SAP/ ERP in manufacturing company.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various teams, Experience in working with cross functional teams.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Office, proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft project.
  • Experience in manpower planning and management.
  • Must have excel skills! (vlookups, if statements, macros, dashboards etc.)
  • Self-motivated, fast-paced organization, planning, customer focused.
  • Good to have manufacturing process knowledge of mechanical industry.
