This exciting role offers opportunity to:

Primary function of this Role is to work with Supplier and CFT for Product Localization and cost out projects.
Supplier identification, Evaluation, and development for commodities like sheet metal, machining, stamping, Injection molding and fabrication.
Spend management and fixup the sourcing strategy against each commodity
Must have experience in supplier contract management and renewal process.
Must have experience in supplier risk assessment and initiate action plan to overcome.
Monitor the supplier performance and improve supplier QCD YOY
Must be the strong negotiator to meet Year on Year cost reduction from supplier.
Knowledge in contract terms & Condition finalization with supplier in line with EATON Standard requirement.
Float RFQ to suppliers and review the supplier manufacturing process, quote comparison and price negotiation based on Should be cost working.
Development of Proto parts and support NPD for quick product launch.
Ensure design changes are implemented based on feedback from proto development
Organize pilot lot from supplier with PPAP documents and review the PPAP and sign off along with SQA.
Experience in handling Global suppliers.
Experience in working with Global commodity team at different time Zone.
Supplier audit, Part qualification, product costing, and excellent negotiation skills.
Work under philosophy of Total cost of ownership, manage supplier master agreement, drive year on year productivity.
Lead the souring projects and deliver the milestone action as per the timeline.

Qualification And Experience:-

BE / ME degree in Mechanical / Electronics and Communication Engineering
8+ years of experience in Souricng / New Prodcut develoepment
Minimum 8 years of experience in Sourcing / New Product development / Supplier development
SAP ERP & Project Management Experience will be added advantage
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High degree of professional presence and customer interface skills
Target Oriented, Team Player, strong relationships at all levels of the organization.

Skills:-

FMEA , PPAP, APQP , Project Management, Strategic Sourcing, Vendor Management, New Product Developments, Should be costing , Product Cost Analysis, Suplier risk assement and New supplier Evaluation.
