Key Responsibilities:-
Production Planning & Execution:-
- Support the Production Manager in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Plan manpower, machines, and materials to ensure smooth production flow.
- Monitor production lines such as stringer, lay-up, lamination, framing, junction box, testing, and
packing. - Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, and process parameters.
Process Control & Improvement:-
- Monitor cycle time, yield, line efficiency, and downtime.
- Identify process losses, defects, and bottlenecks; initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean, 5S, Six Sigma basics).
- Coordinate with Engineering and Maintenance for machine optimization.
Quality Coordination:-
- Ensure production output meets quality standards and customer specifications.
- Work closely with Quality team to reduce rework, rejection, and customer complaints.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, IEC, and internal quality standards.
Manpower Management:-
- Manage shift operations and workforce allocation.
- Train operators and supervisors on process, safety, and quality requirements.
- Monitor discipline, productivity, and skill development of production staff.
- Evaluate performance of team members and support skill matrix development.
Safety & Compliance:-
- Ensure strict adherence to EHS norms, safety procedures, and PPE usage.
- Conduct safety talks, risk assessments, and near-miss reporting.
- Ensure statutory compliance related to production operations.
Coordination & Reporting:-
- Coordinate with Stores, PPC, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics departments.
- Prepare and submit daily production reports, MIS, efficiency reports, and downtime analysis.
- Support audits (internal, customer, and statutory audits).

- Safety compliance (zero accidents)
- Cost and material utilization
Skills & Competencies:-
- Strong knowledge of solar module manufacturing processes
- Leadership and team-handling skills
- Problem-solving and analytical ability
- Knowledge of ERP/MES systems
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work in shifts
Working Conditions:-
- Factory-based role
- Shift operations as per production requirement
