Implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance activities at substation.
Communicate and Coordinate with different external agencies for the Operational activities.
Implementing Emergency Restoration system.
Pre- commissioning support for lines and substations.
PLCC commissioning.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:-

Active role in forming centralized control room for all operational substations for the remote operations.
Make the substation elements available with zero down time.
Root cause analysis of the tripping’s.
Ability to understand the financials of substation construction and O&M costs so as to explore new opportunities in alternatives like Solar, LED’s.
Ability to prepare proposals and submit to clients.
Reduction in auxiliary consumption.
Close monitoring of grid parameters on SCADA screen.
Inspection of switchyard and equipment’s to find out any abnormality.
Carrying out successful charging and shutdown of switchyard elements.
Checking the existing protection schemes and updating the requirement to engineering team the requirements and enhancement for operational feasibility.
In the event of any abnormality, reporting the same to WRLDC along with events and Disturbance Recorder (DR) files.
Preparation of Daily Reports. Preparation of technical diary and its Updation. Preparing MIS report.
Updation of SOP’s for all equipment from time to time. Documentation of substation data from erection to maintenance.

Position Demands:-

Essential:-

At least 4 to 5 years of experience in O&M of substations.
Through knowledge of substation equipment’s, testing and protection schemes.

Desirable:-

Experience in control systems of substation.
Knowledge of switching operations.
Experience in erection, testing, Precommissioning, PLCC, OPGW commissioning, SCADA.
