As an Assistant Manager/Manager Business Development you’ll:-
- Understand industry, peers, competitors, and suppliers and monitor the industry in terms of markets, customers, competitive activity, project development, technological changes and new offerings etc.
- Manage development of greenfield solar, wind and other projects in close collaboration with other teams
- For existing technologies/business models, improve and streamline greenfield project offerings from technical, commercial, market, financing, governance and regulatory aspects;
- Keep track of emerging technologies and analyse and identify new business areas and business models in clean energy segment, originate new business opportunities and drive development of initial pilots/projects;
- Contribute to strategy development and continuous updating with regard to new business areas;
- Ensure compliance to internal policies and business framework;
We look for experienced Manager/Assistant Manager Business Development personnel with the essential skills to future-proof our business and renewable energy solutions. That includes:-
- Bachelor’s in engineering or Business from a reputed Institute/University with contractual and commercial insight and preferably Masters in Business Administration or Management
- 5 to 10 years in renewable/clean energy industry.
- Expertise in strategy, market analysis and business model development in renewable energy industry;
- Expertise in techno-commercial and financial assessment of business models and projects including financial modelling;
- Existing network of stakeholders, project developers and customers
- Good understanding of project development processes, local laws and regulatory framework related to project licensing, permits etc. for renewable energy projects;
