Job Description

We are looking to hire talented finance professionals for multiple roles based out of our Ahmedabad office. In this role, the individual will be a part of growing finance shared services team and will be partnering with stakeholders in India and overseas offices. The successful candidate should have a strong technical accounting background, customer oriented, desire to drive efficiency improvements, passion for people development and growth mindset. The role will offer opportunities for future career development and progression within the finance function in India and MM offices in other international locations.

Responsibilities:-

  • Support the Shared Services Manager in ensuring group policies are consistently applied in respective territories.
  • Supervise preparation and review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and preparing quarterly BPC statutory packs.
  • Partner with affiliate finance team with production of statutory accounts, branch / other tax returns, coordination of any tax, statutory, and internal audits / assessments.
  • Assist in monitoring intercompany accounts to ensure the transactions are valid, reconciled and settled as appropriate with guidance from group Treasury.
  • Review existing processes in Finance and provide recommendations on driving efficiencies.
  • Assist with the financial reporting (FiFi), credit management, taxation, treasury (including banking, mandates, bonds), and internal controls in the territory.
  • Assist with prompt processing of AP and AR invoicing; including maintenance of a billing diary, investigation, and clearance of any invoicing queries.
  • Co-ordinate country compliance with Group Directives including insurances, trade licenses and registrations as required.
  • Coach and develop the team to drive innovation and process improvements, improve customer service and satisfaction, provide opportunities for growth and recognition.

Candidate Specification:-

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant.
  • Service and people oriented individual, who can provide examples / suggestions for building high performing teams.
  • Strong communicator with excellent relationship building skills.
  • Conversant in the use of Microsoft products and experience in other ERP systems.
  • Proven ability to produce accurate management reports to tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical ability with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent English (both written and verbal).
  • Willingness to undertake business travel as required around India.
