Assistant Lead Siting Development Engineer

Vestas has a long history of investing in siting research and development. Global siting uses this best in class knowledge to offer our customers the most optimized site solutions.
Siting development is a small team which links innovation into the site suitability assessment process. You will be a part of a team which continuously ensure Vestas is best in class on site suitability assessment. You will be working across departments to ensure high quality is implemented in the tools used in the large siting community in Vestas.

Responsibilities:-

• To ensure high quality change management on tool and process change
• To ensure continues support on tool and process issues
• To improve quality and consistency of the Vestas Siting Process and Siting tools
• To visualize and promote Siting to internal/external stakeholders
• To ensure quality support community around siting tools
• To propel the automation of Siting calculations
• To clearly communicate the purpose of Siting and get buy in from the surrounding organization

Qualifications And Experiences:-

• Bachelor’s / Master’s in Electrical / Energy conversion systems / Renewable energy / Similar specialization
• 2 to 5 years of experience within site suitability assessment (Wind & Site)
• You are a user of WASP/ WindPRO / Windfarmer / OpenWind
• You hold knowledge within PowerBI dashboard and reporting
• You hold knowledge SQL database search
• You possess good collaboration skills
• You are fluent and clear in written in English

• Outgoing and having good communication and change management skills
• Able to navigate large organizations
