Job Description

Responsibilities:-

  • You will be delivering technical solutions to the product and deeply involved in project execution
  • You will be creating/updating the technical specifications, design verification plans, preparing procedures, and reports related to LV Panels and Cables, and mainly Electrical documentation like panel layouts, general arrangements, electrical schematics, and Operation and Maintenance manuals
  • You will have a major stake in locking interfaces with both Internal and external stakeholders and active involvement in technical discussions at various stages of design with suppliers
  • Support CADD design works and ensure it is documented according to Vestas execution gate model
  • You will be responsible for examining and handling the field issues, performing the root cause analysis, and drive solution end-to-end implementation across the fleets
  • Support production for the new product prototype build and ensure a smooth transition to running production
  • Participate in panels FAT at the supplier end and support the product commissioning team during SAT
  • Identify, develop, and validate the technical improvement as part of the continuous improvement process

Qualifications And Experience:-

  • Bachelor’s in electrical / Similar engineering specialization
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, in electrical system design
  • Knowledge on International standards such as IEC, UL, etc., preferably IEC 60204-1 Machine directive
  • Basic knowledge on EMC (Electromagnetic compatibility) design and testing requirements

Competencies:-

  • You shall be progressive, self-motivated with a positive mindset and “can-do” attitude and should be professionally engaged, able to identify and solve problems with autonomy
  • Willing to take ownership with an investigative mindset and should be able to Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and complete assigned tasks on time
  • Have good communication skills – fluent in both verbal and written English. Experience in stakeholder management spanning the full value chain
  • Experience with high-paced cross-functional and cross-cultural teams is beneficial
  • Experience within the wind/energy Industry especially with WTGs will be preferred
  • Hands-on experience with tools like E-plan, Creo view, and Windchill (ETAP – would be an added advantage)
  • Experience in handling ECM (engineering change management) along the product life cycle
  • Experience in product development process with knowledge of complete design and life cycle management
