Job Description

Responsibilities:-

  • Design special tools & Processes for Transport/installation/service of Powertrain
  • Collect requirements, design, verification, maintenance and operation of TCM solutions
  • Manage full design lifecycle from requirements to serial implementation – with safety and quality, on time and on cost targets
  • Design tools and perform structural analysis based on Eurocode
  • Validate the solution on field
  • Perform FMEA to identify risks and provide mitigation actions
  • Contribute for business processes improvements and product improvements
  • Contribute to cost reduction and improve quality through standardization, modularization and process efficiency improvements
  • Ensure cross functional collaboration with relevant interface owners throughout the value chain

Qualifications And Experience:-

  • Bachelor / Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or allied disciplines
  • Minimum 5 yrs. experience in New Product development within Heavy Engineering Industry
  • Experience in Structural Engineering, i.e., FE analysis, analytical calculation
  • Experience with lifting & transportation tools and processes

  • Proactive and enthusiastic with good attention to detail and willingness to take ownership to achieve goals
  • Great interpersonal skills and ability to interact with multi-cultural and diverse teams all around the globe
  • Customer-focused and solution-oriented
  • Effective communication skills and fluency in English (speaking and writing)
  • Experience with Ansys Workbench is preferred
  • Experience in FMEA and HSE risk assessment is preferred
  • Experience with Creo, PDM Link and Jira is preferred
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma or Design for Six Sigma is beneficial
  • Knowledge of wind turbine is beneficial
