Functions in a mid-level engineer capacity. Under general supervision, performs engineering analysis duties related to the monitoring and diagnostics of operating power generation assets. Broadens knowledge and skill set in area of discipline. May start to expand knowledge in other disciplines and/or functional areas.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Professional will be responsible for delivery of Black & Veatch’s Black & Veatch’s AMS solutions with emphasis on Monitoring & Diagnostic (M&D) consulting solutions.
- Black & Veatch M&D solution is a data analytics-based software and service offering that helps owners and operators of conventional generation, renewable generation, power distribution, water treatment facilities, etc., monitor and improve the performance and health of their assets by diagnosing equipment and performance issues, optimizing operations, and performing integrated planning and forecasting activities. Due to the nature of the complex issues that are detected and resolved as a part of this service, experience in the operation, monitoring, or maintenance of gas turbine, combined cycle, gas-fired thermal, coal-fired, or renewable generation is needed.
- Additional experience in Power Plant Operations & Maintenance Consulting, Plant Performance Audits, Energy Audits, Technical Audits , Heat Rate Audits , Devise and Implement Heat Rate Improvement Plans, Testing, Boiler Optimization Services, Plant Personnel Training, Outage Planning, Review / Prepare O&M Procedure is preferred.
- Areas of responsibility include: Performance Consulting Services, Client Relationship Management, Remote Monitoring and Diagnostics, Plant Performance Audits and Testing, Boiler Optimization Services, Plant Performance Software Configuration and Use. Must have excellent computer skills and desire to work in the field of thermodynamics and/or reliability engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:-
- Total 1-3 years of work experience.
- Experience in Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical projects is mandatory
- Experience in Operations, maintenance & monitoring is mandatory
- Education : Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum Qualifications:-
- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
