Application Engineer-Lead Engineer

Work in coordination with BU, TL, and Engineers on application orders (engineered to order panel boards) & maintain desired quality levels set by organization.

Job Responsibilities:-

• To review customer PO along with field wiring drawings. Prepare panel assembly layout, back plate layout and door layouts.
• To generate design concepts in AutoCAD/Creo.
• To check and ensure design criteria for panel design like wire bending requirements, switchgear component selection/functioning, and perform calculation.
• Manufacturing package and Bill of material.
• Review relevant product standards & identify requirements for panel design per IEC/ATEX/NEC.
• Guide the team members in job execution, team building activities.
• Ensure the final deliverable quality.

Qualification And Experience:-

• BE in Mechanical Engineering with min. 8-10 yrs. of experience in leading panel jobs.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2015 and above, Creo 3 with hands on experience.
• Experience in low voltage Panel design, back plate, Door layout and mounting frame design.
• Who have previously worked/have the knowledge of hazardous area application panels.
• Knowledge of NEC/IEC standards relevant to panel design.
• Good knowledge of IP protections.
• Experience of switch gear selection (MCCB, MCB, Relay etc.)
• Should have good knowledge of Low voltage panel manufacturing process.
• Good communication skill.
