Tata Power Delhi Distribution Launches ‘Pay Bill and Win’ Scheme

Under the scheme those consumers having load up to 11KW and who make their payments on or before December 31st, 2018, with no outstanding amount will be eligible for rewards.

Tata Power Delhi Distribution (Tata Power-DDL) has launched a ‘Pay Bill and Win’ scheme to recognise and reward consumers who make timely payments of their electricity bills.

Under the scheme those consumers having load up to 11KW and who make their payments on or before December 31st, 2018, with no outstanding amount will be eligible for rewards.

Lucky consumers can win exciting prizes like LED TVs, sim enabled Tabs, Mobile Phones, etc. A computerised lucky draw of all eligible consumers will be held in the month of January 2019 to choose the winners.

To promote digital mode of bill payment, special category of prizes will be there for consumers those will be making payment through online or digital mode.

Commenting on the scheme Sanjay Banga, CEO, Tata Power-DDL, said, “We have always focused on delighting our consumers through world class experience and service as well as innovative initiatives. The ‘Pay Bill and Win’ scheme reiterates our commitment to recognise and reward consumers with an excellent payment track record. I am sure the scheme will once again have an overwhelming response from the consumers.”

Tata Power-DDL distributes electricity in North & North West parts of Delhi and serves a populace of 7 million. The company started operations on July 1, 2002 post the unbundling of the erstwhile Delhi Vidyut Board (DVB).

With a registered consumer base of 1.64 million and a peak load of around 1967 MW (recorded in July 2018), the company’s operations span across an area of 510 sqkms.
