Redington India Limited, a multi-brand distributor of solar PV panels, has completed the supply of 11 MW Solar PV Modules for a project in South India.

Redington is a solar equipment group, distributing Tier-1 brands like REC, Longi, and Trina Solar Panels.

Recently the firm launched value-added products like Solar BOS kits from brands like Siachem, Solar Micro Inverter kits from Growatt etc. and Solar PV on-grid kits from RenewSys to support the growing Solar Rooftop market in India.

The company offers all the technical pre-sales support to new and experienced solar system integrators and EPC companies to help them optimise their system designs and thereby become competitive in their cost.

Previously, Enphase Energy had invested in a direct presence in Chennai and the company had then added Redington as a new distribution partner.

“Customers are willing to invest in quality solar products, and Enphase’s micro-inverter technology continues to lead the solar industry, said Pradeep Srikanthan, Vice President, Solar Equipment Group of Redington at the time.

“Redington is pleased to be representing Enphase as part of our commitment towards distributing quality and technologically advanced solar products through our network of more than 500 channel partners in India.”
