Huawei Unveils Smart Inverter Solution for Future Smart Homes

The Residential Solar Smart Inverter System from Huawei offers power optimization, energy storage and smart home integration through its simplified plug & play configuration.

Huawei Technologies has launched its first smart inverter solution to the global residential solar photovoltaic (PV) market. The Huawei FusionHome Smart Energy Solution has been specifically designed from the bottom-up to be a ‘one-4-all’ (one inverter SKU for all) European residential market.

The Residential Solar Inverter System offers a number of key capabilities for future residential home needs such as power optimization, energy storage and smart home integration in a simplified plug & play configuration. This is the Huawei’s first smart PV hardware and intelligent monitoring software designed for the smart home of the future.

Steven Zhoutao, General Manager for Huawei’s Smart PV Business Residential Solution told PV Tech that Huawei’s Smart Inverter Solution aims to refine smart energy management, providing an easy-to-distribute, easy-to-install and easy-to-use solution that maximizes the return on investment of installing solar PV at home.
