CEL Issues Tender for 11 MW Solar Project in Maharashtra

The minimum size of a single project project has to be 400 KW to 500 Kw and the deadline for the submission of bid is January 14, 2019.

The Central Electronics Limited (CEL) has issued a tender for the development of a 11 MW grid connected solar power plant in Maharashtra.

The minimum size of a single project project has to be 400 KW to 500 Kw and the deadline for the submission of bid is January 14, 2019.

The public-sector enterprise CEL will supply 300 watt solar PV modules for the project.

The project will developed on a turnkey basis and the tender is for engineering procurement and construction of the solar facility.

The scope of work includes the design, engineering, supply, construction, testing, and commissioning of the grid-connected solar PV projects along with operation and maintenance of the project for a period of 10 years.

The CEL has made it mandatory that the mechanical structures as well as all the materials supplied by the bidder must be warranted for a period of 10 years.

CEL in April 2018 also had issued a tender for 100 MW grid-connected solar PV projects to be developed in the state of Maharashtra.

Following this, CEL in June 2018 issued another tender for 100 MW solar projects in Maharashtra.
