50 MW Solar Power Project Sanction to Refex Energy as EPC Contract

The Contract also included grid connectivity approval from Tamil Nadu State Electricity Authorities.

A 50MW Grid interactive Solar power Project as Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract has been clinched by Refex Energy, counts as leading sustainable energy solution provider firm in an auction organized by the public sector Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC).

 As an EPC contract, Refex Energy will be liable to provide a comprehensive range of services, including procurement of land, design, engineering, inspection at supplier’s works, supply, insurance, transport, storage, erection, testing and commissioning and provisional takeover of grid interactive Solar Photo Voltaic power project in conjunction with High Tension (HT) power system for grid inter-connection inclusive of all accessories in Tamil Nadu. The Contract also included grid connectivity approval from Tamil Nadu State Electricity Authorities, load flow study, bay extensions, external transmission lines and right of way with included power evacuation system approved by Tamil Nadu State Electricity Authorities.

 “it is a very prestigious project for us. This 50MW contract with NLC have paved way to bid for their next tender of 709 mw. With this order, Refex energy portfolio with Solar PV Power will exceed more than 400 MW, spanning across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu.” said Refex Group Managing Director Anil Jain while Commenting on the contract. He further added ”Our aim is to be one of the leading EPC contractors in the country for solar projects and achieve excellence through continuous development and innovation”.
