NTPC invites EPC tender for 6 Blocks of 125 MW Capacity Solar Power Project in Karnataka

The 750 MW solar power tender will be awarded to multiple bidders in single/multiple blocks of 125 MW.

India’s largest power utility firm, NTPC has invited EPC tender for the development of 750 MW (6 Blocks of 125 MW Capacity) Solar Power Project at Pavagada, Karnataka.

The 750 MW capacity will be distributed into six blocks of 125 MW solar power projects. The tender includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading, storage, installation and commissioning of the grid-connected solar power plants.

Salient features of the tender includes

  • SPV modules of minimum capacity 240 Wp (Crystalline) with IEC certified from accredited certifying agencies as detailed in technical specification.
  • SPV modules may be sourced from single/multiple manufacturers.
  • Module mounting arrangement with seasonal tilting and/or automatic east- west tracking as per specification.
  • Inverter with minimum cumulative capacity of 125 MW with Maximum Power Point Tracking technology.
  • Pre-Engineered Inverter room with and associated transformer and switchgears.
  • SCADA system for control and monitoring.
  • Main Control room cum pooling switchgear and metering of final output feeder at 33 kV side of 33/220 kV pooling substation end as per technical specification.

The selected bidders will also be involved in operation and maintenance services of the plants.
